About ProCraft
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
It’s More Than Construction.
Some call it construction. We call it craftsmanship. The truth is, we take as much pride in creating our boats as you take in owning them. The difference is in the details. At PROCRAFT, there aren’t any small details. Every detail gets our full attention because in the end, that’s how we capture yours.
An Inside Look.
A close look at any PROCRAFT boat begins at the hull. Our
hulls are the product of highly skilled craftsmen and computerized technology. Computer-aided design produces a fiberglass mold
which, in turn, is used to create hulls that are spec’d and checked against established parameters for density and other
characteristics. Then a senior craftsman does it all over again. Only after passing these tests is it allowed to move to the
next production step.
A PROCRAFT hull is the perfect combination of technology,
ingenuity and craftsmanship. Computers are used to maximize internal strength and performance. But the technology is only a means
to an end. It’s the skill to use that technology that sets us apart.
A full-length longitudinal stringer is chemically fused and
bonded to the hull’s interior surface. Interlocked to that hull is a strong-backed transom with fastener reinforcements and
multiple layers of biaxial fiberglass. That’s why we say that every inch of a PROCRAFT hull is maximized for strength and
performance.
A Perfect Boat. A Perfect Fit.
Once complete, the hull is ready to receive the deck cap.
Where our competitors make their caps to fit, we make them to fit perfectly. This is a skill that comes from years of performing
cutting-edge fiberglass construction. Each and every deck cap we craft fits like a glove.
Just like our commitment to hull perfection, PROCRAFT is equally fanatical about deck strength, finish and, of course, fit.
No detail too small.
Once the hull and deck are fitted, it’s time for the finish.
Again, no detail is too small. Carpet corners are
permanently attached with flush-mount stainless steel screws. All deck lids are of aluminum or composite for truer fit and heat
control. Wiring harnesses follow a planned path throughout the boat. We add fishing features such as our exclusive FaleSafe™
livewell systems. Finally, all the electronics, trolling motors, lights, instrumentation, batteries, carpets and consoles are
installed. Then we factory rig your Mercury® outboard to exacting specifications.
Quality Control.
When everything is in place, the boat undergoes a
rigorous quality inspection. First, each boat is floated to ensure its integrity. The boat is tested under the same conditions
you would encounter on the water. The outboard rigging is tested for tightness and gear shifting is checked against pre-set
standards.
Following this initial inspection, our Quality Control Managers thoroughly review each and every component to ensure the boat’s consistent quality. To become a member of this select group, individuals must achieve craftsmanship level at each and every step of the process and share perfection as the only acceptable standard for a PROCRAFT boat.
It’s a wrap.
Next, the detail team descends on each new boat. With careful scrutiny they vacuum, clean, polish and buff every inch of the boat. Just to make sure our boats looks are as impressive as their performance.
Finally, the finished boat is shrink wrapped to protect it enroute to your local dealer. A vinyl shipping cover is fitted with ventilation valves, ensuring adequate airflow to help reduce condensation.
Wrapped and protected, the PROCRAFT boat is loaded onto the truck and on its way to another proud PROCRAFT owner. Many PROCRAFT owners are repeat buyers, a testimony to our craftsmanship and an honor we don’t take lightly. But a growing number of buyers are new to the PROCRAFT family. People who have heard and seen for themselves the high standards to which PROCRAFT boats are built. People who demand the best and find it… in a PROCRAFT.
